8 DAY 7 NIGHT SAHARA DESERT TOUR FROM MARRAKECH

Explore Morocco on a private 8-day tour fromMarrakech. We take a Camel Ride in the Erg Chebbi desert, stay Overnight at a Berber camp, drive through the Todgha Gorge.

DAY 1:MARRAKECH

Transfer from Marrakech airport to your riad.

DAY 2: MARRAKECH CITY TOUR

Today we will explore main Marrakech attractions and monuments of this “Red city of Morocco”. The private Marrakech tour including visit of the Majorelle Gardens, also the Koutoubia Tower and the Saadian tombs. We will visit the Bahia Palace and new part called Gueliz. Then we’ll take a Marrakech walk tour through the souks and then you will have free program in Marrakech. We stay this night in local riad / hotel with traditional Moroccan dinner and breakfast.

DAY 3: MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE - DADES GORGES

After breakfast in your riad we will set off for the Dades valley, passing through mountain pass of Tizi n'Tichka. We stop at UNESCO site of Ait Benhaddou famous for shooting films including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and Alexander. We will head to Ouarzazate to visit Taourirt Kasbah and local film studio. We continue our private Marrakech Tour to the Roses valley and we will pass through the Berber village Kelaa M'Gouna to arrive to Dades Gorges. We stay this night here in local riad / hotel with traditional Moroccan dinner and breakfast.

DAY 4:DADES GORGES - TODGHA GORGE - ERFOUD - RISSANI - MERZOUGA DESERT

Our private Marrakech Tour starts today towards Todgha Gorge. We will explore nearby area and then we continue our 4x4 tour passing Ziz valley, Erfoud and Rissani. Then we arrive to Merzouga , also called Erg Chebbi Sahara desert which is about 32 km long and 9 km wide . We stay this night in local desert riad / hotel with traditional Moroccan dinner and breakfast.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA 4X4 TOUR AND CAMEL TREK

After breakfast at the riad, our private Marrakech tour continues its exploration of the desert region by visiting Khamlia, often known as the "village of the blacks." We shall be exposed to their music and way of life. Later, we will encounter nomad families living in desert tents, with whom we may have a lunch of Berber pizza, a classic Berber dish. Then we will travel to Rissani, a walled town with several turrets. We now visit a nearby souk. We drive back to Merzouga, where an experienced camel guide will lead us to the sand dunes on camelback. It takes around 45 minutes to reach the desert camp on camel. We will watch the sun set over the dunes, followed by a traditional camp meal.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA - AGDEZ - DRAA VALLEY - OUARZAZATE

Our private Marrakech Tour continues watching sunrise over the dunes and then we will ride camels back to the riad for showers and breakfast. Then we continue our Morocco 4x4 trip to Ouarzazate, passing through Alnif, Tazzarine and Nkob. We pass also Draa Valley to reach Ouarzazzate. We stay this night in local riad / hotel with traditional Moroccan dinner and breakfast.

DAY 7: OUARZAZATE - TIZI N'TICHKA MONTAIN PASS - MARRAKECH

After breakfast our private Marrakech Tour continues today and we will set off for Marrakech, passing through the spectacular High Atlas mountains. We may visit Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, Kasbat Talouet and we pass Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass to reach Marrakech. We stay this night in local Marrakech riad / hotel with traditional Moroccan dinner and breakfast.

DAY 8: MARRAKECH - TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

Our private Marrakech Tour finishes today and we transfer you to the airport for departure.
