MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA DESERT IN 3 DAYS

In the Atlas Mountains, we'll take the breathtaking Tizi n'Tichka pass, where you'll get to see the famous Kasbahs (including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ait Benhaddou Kashbah).

You will go far into the Moroccan Sahara Desert on this special three-day Camel Ride.

DAY 1:MARRAKECH - KASBAH AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE - DADES GORGES

The Tizi n'Tichka Atlas pass, which provides stunning views of the surrounding mountains and authentic High Atlas Berber settlements, will be our first stop on our trek from Marrakech to Dades Gorges. After a stop for lunch at either Kasbah Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate (where we'll see Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas studios), we'll head to the Roses and Dades valley in search of a bed for the night in the awe-inspiring Dades Gorges.

DAY 2: DADES GORGES - TODGHA GORGE - MERZOUGA CAMEL RIDE

The Erg Chebbi Sahara desert near Merzouga will be our next stop after breakfast in the Dades Gorges. After traveling via Todgha Gorge, Tenhir, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud—where we'll get our first taste of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet—we'll arrive at a hotel in Merzouga, where you'll check in, relax for a while, and then leave most of your belongings behind save for a small overnight bag. After that, we're going on an expedition with camels. After arriving at the camp, we will dismount the camels and make our way to the highest sand dunes, where we will sandboard and watch the sun go down. We will spend the night in a camp of Berber nomad tents, complete with drumming.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA - ATLAS MOUNTAINS - MARRAKECH

Before returning to Merzouga via camel, we will wake you up early to view the dawn from the sand dunes. We will leave the hotel after breakfast and have a shower before making our way back to Marrakech via many different Berber villages (Alnif, Tazarine, and N'kob) until we arrive in Ouarzazate. From there, we will take the same route back to Marrakech, where we will arrive in the evening.
